Shay Wyatt, MS, LPC, NCC
Owner | Clinical Director | Lead Therapist
Hi there! I'm Shay Wyatt and I am the Owner and Clinical Director of Abide Integrative Counseling Services. I am an amicable Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor that is dedicated and truly enjoys helping others reach their deserved full potential in life. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Georgia in 2016 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2018.
In addition to being personable and passionate, I operate from a directive, person-centered therapeutic approach; which I believe sets the foundation for a healthy and professional therapeutic relationship to develop. By placing strong emphasis on the client therapist relationship, this allows myself and the client to have a collaborative and more trusting relationship during the counseling process; which ultimately enhances the client's overall experience while maximizing their therapy outcomes.
I take on an eclectic approach to therapy when working with clients that consists of cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness activities, distress tolerance skills, psychoeducation, bibliotherapy, and out-of-office homework assignments to assist in reaching client's goals for therapy. I have obtained over 7+ years of experience across diverse behavioral health settings, such as substance abuse residential facilities, IOP/PHP outpatient programs, community mental health, and group private practices across Atlanta, GA and Metro-Atlanta.
I specialize in providing individual and group therapy for a wide range of issues, including substance abuse, trauma, family dynamics, relationship issues/conflict and so much more.
When I am not helping clients in sessions, I love love love to spend time with my family and friends, go to church, travel, try new foods/restaurants, shop, do home improvements projects with my husband, and laugh at Tik Tok videos!
My overall goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges and foster positive change each individual deserves. Together, we process past traumas and root causes of issues. My clients learn tools to build confidence and self-esteem, ultimately improving relationships with themselves and others. I am so excited for your transformation and the beautiful journey that is ahead of you!

I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of experience supporting individuals and families through their mental health journeys. I began my nursing career in 2015,
earned my BSN in 2019, and completed my MSN in Psychiatry in 2025. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, as well as in leadership roles that have strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered care.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, panicdisorders and panic attacks, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, addiction/substance use concerns, and more. My approach is holistic and individualized—integrating each client’s unique story, values, and goals to foster healing from the inside out. I strive to create a safe,
supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their care.
Here at Abide Integrative Counseling, I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychoeducation for individuals across the lifespan. My practice emphasizes emotional wellness, recovery, and long-term stability through ethical, culturally competent, and client-centered care.
Originally from Central Florida, I relocated to Atlanta in 2023, where I continue to grow both personally and professionally. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three wonderful children—two boys and a little girl. I enjoy cheering on my favorite sports teams, spending quality time with family, and creating new memories together.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling balanced, supported, and in control of your mental health, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and wholeness.
